[1] Based on my mother’s memory who was born Raffaela Antonietta Trotta on April 16, 1901 in a house called U Pitturu. The house was owned by the Barone Martini and was situated in the frazione of Scarcelli, that was a part of Fuscaldo.

[5] Raffaela Antonietta Trotta is my mother. Her mother, Giuseppina Vilardo, daughter of Battista Vilardo and Vincenzina Ciambarella married Francesco Maria Trotta.
[6] Angiolina died in 1909, and is buried in the Fuscaldo cemetery. I found her grave in the FC in 1968 when I was there with my parents. Though my mom was born in 1901, remembered her aunt, lived in Fuscaldo until 1940, and went to the FC many times, she never knew of that gravesite. This is unusual as her own mother apparently had never visited her own sister's grave.
